Privacy Policy — XBT - Risk Calculator
XBT - Risk Calculator is a fully offline app. It does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. It does not even declare the Android INTERNET permission — it is technically incapable of sending data anywhere.
1. What the app does
The app is a set of trading calculators — position size, pip/point value, risk:reward (including multi-target), margin, profit/loss, drawdown recovery, spread cost, compounding and position averaging (DCA) — plus a daily risk guard, a local history of saved calculations, editable platform fee profiles and a shareable result card. Every number is computed on your device.
2. Permissions
The release app requests zero Android permissions. This is verifiable: inspect the installed APK's manifest — there is no INTERNET entry, so the operating system itself prevents the app from making network requests. No location, no storage, no camera, no microphone, no contacts, no notifications.
3. What the app stores
Saved locally on your device only, in the app's private storage:
- language, theme, account-currency label and default risk %;
- your account balance and daily-risk limit, and the risk you logged today (the risk guard resets on a new day);
- the last values you typed into each calculator, your saved calculation history (newest 100) and your platform fee profiles.
This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to us or to any third party, and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
4. What the app does NOT do
- No data collection of any kind — personal or anonymous.
- No analytics, crash reporting, tracking or advertising SDKs.
- No network requests, no accounts, no cloud sync, no backup on our side.
- No access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, files or any other sensitive permission.
5. Sharing a result
The share button renders a result card on your device and hands the image to the operating system's share sheet. It leaves your phone only if you pick a target app, and only to that app. We never receive a copy.
6. Outbound links
Settings contains optional shortcuts that open other apps: your email client (to contact support) and the store page of our other apps. These simply hand off to the other app — nothing is transmitted by XBT - Risk Calculator itself, and no network permission is needed for it.
7. Children
The app is a general-audience calculation tool, is not directed at children, and collects no data from anyone.
8. Not financial advice
The calculators are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice. Always verify results against your broker's contract specifications. See the risk disclaimer.
9. Changes
If this policy ever changes — for example if a future version added an online feature — the updated policy will be published at this URL and in the store listing before that change ships. A change that introduced data collection would require an app update with a visibly changed permission list.
