The short version

Nothing on this site or in our tools is investment advice. Trading involves substantial risk and you can lose all of your capital. Every decision you make with these tools is your own.

1. Informational tools only

XBT ALGO publishes technical indicators for TradingView and, as they are released, web tools such as market schedules, economic-calendar entries, news headlines, sentiment scores, calculators, a trading journal and educational material. All of it is for general information and education only.

None of it is investment, financial, legal, accounting or tax advice; none of it is a personal recommendation; none of it takes your circumstances, objectives, experience or risk tolerance into account. We are not a licensed investment adviser, broker, dealer or portfolio manager, and using our tools does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship. If you need advice, consult a licensed professional in your country.

2. Trading risk

Trading foreign exchange, CFDs, crypto-assets, futures, options, indices and shares carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses. Prices can move against you quickly, gap over your stop or become illiquid; a stop-loss does not guarantee your exit price. You can lose your entire deposit, and with some products more than your deposit. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

3. Indicators

Technical indicators, including our invite-only scripts on TradingView offered with the Smart Trading Suite membership, are calculation and visualisation tools. They describe past and current price behaviour according to a formula. They do not predict the future, do not guarantee any outcome and are not a trading system on their own.

Some of our indicators show a small report card on the chart, and Signal Evidence Card scores the signals of an indicator you choose. Those numbers are hypothetical test trades on the bars loaded on your chart, using the costs you enter; they are not real trades and not a forecast.

Any historical, back-tested, simulated or example results shown anywhere are hypothetical. They do not account for every real cost, such as slippage, spreads, commissions, funding, latency, liquidity and execution errors, or for the psychology of trading real money, and they benefit from hindsight. Past performance, real or simulated, does not indicate future results.

4. Sample data on this site

Screens, numbers and charts shown on this site, such as the trading journal example and the indicator images, are illustrations and sample data. They are not results of our indicators and not records of real trades.

5. Market sentiment scores

Sentiment "temperature" scores are aggregates of market data, computed by a rules-based model that we designed. Please understand what that does and does not mean:

6. Calculators and risk tools

Position-size, pip or point value, margin, profit and loss, drawdown and cost calculators produce estimates from the numbers you enter. Contract specifications, tick values, margin requirements, commissions, swap or funding rates and fees vary by broker, instrument and account type and change over time.

Always check a calculated size against your broker's own contract specification and your account's live margin before you place an order. A wrong input, or a missing currency conversion rate, gives a wrong result. The tool flags what it cannot compute instead of guessing, but the final check is yours.

7. Journal statistics

Win rate, expectancy, profit factor, R multiples, equity curves and drawdown are computed from the data you enter or import. They are only as accurate as your records, and small samples are statistically unreliable. They describe your past behaviour; they do not predict your future results.

8. Data quality and delivery

Market hours, holidays, economic events and news come from third-party sources. Times, forecasts and figures may be delayed, revised or wrong, and event schedules change. Alerts depend on your device and browser: battery saving, a closed browser, a switched-off device or a blocked permission can delay or stop them. Do not rely on an alert as the only trigger for a time-critical decision.

9. Educational content

Pattern descriptions, glossary entries and guides describe common market concepts as they are usually taught. They are simplifications, not rules that markets obey, and they are meant for adults learning about markets, not as instructions to place a trade.

10. Your responsibility

You alone are responsible for your trading decisions, for following the laws and regulations of your country and for the tax treatment of your activity. Some products mentioned in our tools are restricted or unavailable to retail traders in some countries.
